Description

Muktinath, located at an altitude of 3,800 meters in Nepal’s Mustang district, is a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Known as the “place of liberation,” it is believed that visiting Muktinath brings salvation and freedom from the cycle of rebirth. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and features 108 water spouts, where devotees purify themselves. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and breathtaking landscapes, the area offers spiritual peace and natural beauty. Nearby, the eternal flame at Jwala Mai Temple adds to its mystical charm. Pilgrims and travelers alike are drawn to Muktinath for its religious significance and serene environment.

Morning:

Depart from Pokhara early morning.

In route, visit Galeshwor Dham, a revered Hindu temple.

Stop at Mahabhir Jharana, known for its scenic views and natural beauty.

Witness the mesmerizing Rupse Waterfalls.

Afternoon:

Explore the serene Marfa Village, famous for its apple orchards and unique Thakali culture.

Visit Jeri Gali, a tranquil spot with stunning mountain views.

Evening: 

Arrive at Tukuche for an overnight stay

Morning:

Visit Jomsom (Headquarter of Mustang District) on the way.

Discover the serene beauty of Dhumba Lake, surrounded by the Himalayas.

Visit Kagbeni, a picturesque village and the gateway to Upper Mustang.

Stop at Serthang Selfie Park for Photos and videos

Explore Ranipauwa Village, known for its spiritual charm and local culture.

Drive to Muktinath Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.

 Evening:

Reach Chhusang for an overnight stay.

Morning:

Journey to Lo Manthang, the walled city of Upper Mustang.

Explore Lo Manthang Village and visit the ancient Thubchen Gonpa.

Discover the fascinating Chhoser Cave, rich in history and culture.

 Afternoon:

Drive to the Korola Border, the Nepal-China border.

Evening:

Descend back to Marfa/Tukuche for an overnight stay.

Morning:

Head to Tatopani, known for its natural hot springs.

Enjoy a soothing dip in the hot springs and relax amidst nature.

Afternoon:

Visit Baglung Kalika Temple, a significant religious site near Baglung.

Evening:

Return to Pokhara and conclude the trip.
